    For this donation-only hour, Akasha Collective is open to all for self-directed practice. Hosted by Djuna, this time in inspired by the Mysore tradition practice by Ashtanga Yogis, where students structure their own practice, seeking the help of a teacher as needed.

  • Gentle Yoga and Meditation

    Gentle Yoga and Meditation

    The focus of this class is the cultivation of body based attention and awareness through yoga and meditation. I will provide guidance on how to find a supportive and appropriate posture and how to be aware of and focus your attention. But above all, I hope to practice together.

  • Functional Movement Group Training

    In these committed group training sessions, we develop multi-dimensional strength, coordination, and balance. Operating under a personal training model, class content is individualized to the groups’ members.

    Current groups: M/Th 4:30-5:30pm; W/F 11am-12pm

  • Gentle Yoga

    Join Laura and friends Tuesday mornings for a 75 minute gentle class inspired by Viniyoga, which consists of slow repetitions of movement linked with the breath. Lots of modifications offered. This class is appropriate for seniors.

    $20 per class.

    Tuesdays, 9-10:15 am.

  • Hatha Yoga

    This class incorporates all 8 limbs of classical Yoga into a practice that explores the nexus between body, mind, and spirit. Expect a well-rounded asana practice combined with sitting, philosophy, and breath.

    Tuesdays 6:30-8pm; Thursdays 9-10:30am.

  • Level 1 Iyengar Yoga

    This class welcomes beginners and those new to the Iyengar method of yoga in addition to experienced students. We practice fundamental asanas and learn essential actions within standing and seated poses, twists, forward and backward extensions, and basic inversions. An emphasis is placed on scoliosis and other back issues.

    Thursdays 5:45-7:00pm.

  • All Levels Iyengar Yoga

    A vigorous 90 minute practice of beginner/intermediate asanas, with Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, Lisa Longton.
    Lisa provides creative sequences which develop strength, increase flexibility, and enliven your energy. She has over 22 years of Iyengar Yoga experience, and her classes are appropriate for all, whether a beginner or more advanced student of yoga. Classes can be paid for in advance or at the door. These classes are available for drop-ins, or a series pass which can be purchased for a more economical price.

  • All Levels Iyengar Yoga

    Robin will guide you through an active practice to build strength and flexibility, while finishing with quieting poses to round out your mid-week routine. It is suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced practitioners. Robin has over 20 years of teaching experience, including working with students with scoliosis.
