Days Between is an introductory workshop for anyone that wishes to use dance and movement as a creative and therapeutic outlet to work through the trauma of losing a loved one and are ready to find wholeness and closure. All levels of dance are welcome.

Through use of somatics, guided meditation, and movement/choreography, we will explore:

  • Confronting and releasing “lived in” emotions and trauma in the mind/body.

  • Memory Regression

  • Dance it out/dance it in method

Callie Johnson is the founder of Soul Contact Dance and Somatic Healing.  Years after experiencing the passing of her partner, she reintroduced dance into her life as a tool to continue to work through her grief. Using her lifelong experience in dance and embodiment training, she has created a unique program, Beyond Bereavement.  This program explores embodied movement as a means to work through the heartache of loss and reconnect to your loved one.

Days Between is a free introduction to Beyond Bereavement to help you take a step towards a new approach in healing. Participants will be given the opportunity to move through the emotional pain residing in their bodies in a safe and supportive community.
