The development of yoga therapy as a profession has been driven by the increasing demand for holistic and natural forms of healing. This presentation will highlight the difference between yoga therapy and what you might experience going to a yoga class at a studio.
The Panchamaya Kosha model is a concept in yoga philosophy that describes the five layers of the human being. According to this model, each layer represents a different aspect of our being, from the physical body to the spiritual self. In this presentation we will explore the different layers and discuss how Yoga Therapists use the model when working with an individual.
Presented by Laura Leathers, founder of Seva Integrated Therapy.
This workshop is free, and pre-registration is required.
